Dedeco® SUNBURST® Points - Shape 15, 6 Micron (72 Piece) 3/32" Shanks

SUNBURST® Points are on a 3/32" shank and are for finishing and polishing hard-to-access areas. Excellent for finishing and polishing hard-to-access areas.  The sharp, clean, aluminum oxide grit has a unique, durable plastic binder throughout, enabling them to work fast and last longer than rubber points. These points generate minimal dust and heat and eliminates the need for polishing compound.  Ideal for finishing, smoothing and high luster polishing of all metals, acrylics and ceramics.  Recommended operation speeds for most applications is 8,000-12,00 RPM, because at these speeds, pinpoint accuracy is more easily maintained.  the lower speed range allows a softer touch, greater flexibility, and produces more subtle results.  Higher speeds will provide more aggressive metal removal.  Color coded for easy grit identification.  For woodworking applications, recommended operating speed is 5,000 RPM.
